Selling my stunning, garage kept, 1968 Cadillac Fleetwood,runs, drives and stops great, the engine is so quiet. To get the Cadillac ready for sale, the following was just completed: new water pump, aluminum radiator, valve cover gaskets, oil filter, air filter, transmission service including new filter and fluid, spark plugs, spark plug wires, electronic points, ignition coil, upper and lower radiator hoses, heater hoses and hood insulation, fresh oil change and digital radio and front speaker.The body is laser straight, it appears that no body work was required when the car was painted, the paint is beautiful, with only a few very small touchup areas and a few small bubbles. The 2 rear fender skirts have rust and bubbles, I just purchased replacements which are included with the sale. The exterior chrome is amazing, no pitting and very shiny, the very bottom of the DS front bumper end has a rust hole, which is not noticeable. All power windows work including the 4 vent windows (some vent windows only work from the door that they are on) All lightswork including the interior lights, dash lights, low and high beam headlights, brake lights, back up lights and turn signals(the turn signal lever has to be held for blinkers, the replacement part is included with the sale). The power seat works in all positions as does the tilt and telescoping steering wheel. The Fleetwood also has fully working adjustable rear air shocks.Since the transmission service, the Fleetwood shifts late, it revs pretty high before shifting into the higher gear, I ordered a new shift valve which will be included in the sale. When the car sits, there is an oil leak which I hear is pretty common. The trunk, floorboards and under carriage are solid, nothing more than normal surface rust. The interior is great, the front seat has a separation as seen in the picture, the dash pad is perfect and the original carpet is very nice as are the door panels and headliner, even still has the original Cadillac floor mats. Included in the sale is the original owner's manual, shop manual, color sales brochure, original hubcaps,original am and am/fm radios, a replacement outside and inside mirrors, fender skirts, original jack, car cover (has holes) and a few extra parts, clean Maryland title in my name.
