We are Euclid Car Co. at 1231 E. 286th St., Euclid, OH 44132. We have been in the used car business for over 40 years and we love to sell cars on eBay. The buyer gets a car he or she wants, and the dealer gets a car sold. Don't participate in the auction if you're not 100% sure you can pay for the car when the auction is over. We depend on the sales of these cars for income to our used car lot. eBay considers the winner to be in a binding contract with Euclid Car Co., so any non-paying bidder will be reported to eBay. Please do not call us when the auction is over to tell us:
"My wife won't let me buy the car."
"I hit the button by mistake."
"My son or daughter bought the car on my account and I don't want it."
"The car is too far away, I don't want it."
etc, etc.
We only accept wires, certified checks, and cash. We do not take deposits, Paypal, credit cards (cash or debit), or checks in the mail. We will not deal with a loan from your bank. All cars must be paid for within 3 days of the auction ending, no excuses. Please make sure you have the funds available before you bid on our vehicles. This is a no-reserve auction, which means that the last highest bidder when the auction is over will win the car. Every time you bid on the car keep in mind that you have an opportunity to be the owner, so your bid means something.

This is an as-is vehicle, which means that once you buy it, you own it with all faults (known or unknown). With the purchase of this vehicle, the buyer will pay for all repairs. We would like the vehicle picked up from our lot within 7 days of auction ending. There will be a $100 paperwork fee added on to the final sale price of the vehicle, along with a $15 title fee. By Ohio law, we must transfer this title into your name. The reason being is that if we would just send you the title and it was to get lost, there would be a problem. Or if we would send you the title and you didn't transfer it for several years and it got lost, it would be an even bigger problem. We follow the law of our state and will make sure that the title is transferred correctly for all customers. We are offering for sale a clean, classic 1977 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. The car has 24,177 actual miles. Here's the story on the car: I purchased this car from a gentleman who bought it from his parents in the early 80s. His parents bought this car new late in 1977 and they buy a new Cadillac every 3 to 4 years. This was not the only car that his parents had. They only put 16,000 miles on it in the 3 to 4 years that they owned it. Their son, who I bought the car from, liked the car and purchased it from his parents. He only drove it 6,000 miles inapproximately35 years. He liked this car so much that he built a garage for the car, put a cover on it, ran the heat all winter, and had 2 fans in the ceiling, with one running 24/7. I have never seen anybody take care of a car to save it like this gentleman did.
After I purchased the car, I took it to my mechanic and had it inspected from bumper to bumper and replaced an air conditioning line and some seals. We also charged it. He bled the brakes because the car was not being used. By the way, the front brakes are new. The exhaust is not that old, and the tires only have 200 miles on them. The car runs and drives excellent. We don't know the last time the car was tuned up, but it does drive very smoothly. Even though the person we bought the car from wasn't using the car every day, he still started it up and drove it around the block every few months to keep the carlubricatedand running properly. The options on this vehicle are:
-Power Steering and Brakes-Automatic transmission-Power Windows and Locks-Rear power trunk-Rear defog-Tilt Wheel-AM/FM stereo with 8-track-Power Seat
All options work. The leather interior doesn't look much different than it did back in 1977. You must remember that the car was kept in a garage, so there's no fading. When we had the car professionally cleaned, we left the original mats in the trunk so you could see that the carpeting was perfect. I'd also like to mention that we took the car to a bodyshop and replaced all the plastic pieces between the two rear bumpers that sometimes go bad on a car of this age. There were a couple cracks in the plastic, which rather than gluing them, we had the entire thing redone. Hopefully, they'll last another 40 years because they were probably made better than the original. The headliner will have to be reglued. I took great pictures of the half vinyl roof, and there are no bubbles anywhere. It's excellent. The body is exactly what you see, although it does look more impressive in person.
