RELISTING DUE TO A NON-PAYING BUYER. IF YOU HAVE ZERO INTENTIONS ON COMPLETING THE DEAL PLEASE DO NOT INQUIRE.

Up for sale is my 1951 Cadillac series 62 convertible. This is an original survivor that I dubbed the “patina queen”. One older repaint in the original color code 22 which is feista ivory and trim code 53 red leather. This past summer I purchased the vehicle from the widow of the original owner who I was told purchased the car new in California. Sometime in the 1970s it was relocated to Indianapolis where I eventually bought it from. It had been sitting in a garage under covers for several decades, hidden from the late of day. The color of the car was not fully discernible at first sight as years of dirt and dust accumulated all over the car. Upon purchase, the caddy was sent to Ohio where it was featured in a barn find detailing video. The video has amassed over 1M views across social media platforms and the link will be posted below. The car is not without its flaws as the paint in spots is faded or spotted (I think from the cover sticking to the paint in spots) but the car is solid overall.. The frame and trunk are very solid with no discernible evidence of past repairs and the body is solid with no bubbling or holes. What looks like rust on the bottom of the drivers door is actually minor paint loss where the hydraulic window had leaked at one point and ate the paint. The bottoms of the doors are extremely solid too. The engine in the car is the original numbers matching motor with 60k miles. Upon bringing it back to Connecticut the car received a reawakening, including

. Brand new gas tank and sending unit

Fuel lines cleaned out

Fuel pump sent out and professionally rebuilt

Carburetor professionally rebuild

New battery

New brake master cylinder

New brake wheel cylinders

New brake hoses.

The car now runs, drives and stops. I’ve had it out on the road several times now and it runs and drives well and the brakes stop as they should. The engine runs strong with no knows or smoking. The interior leather is all original except for the front seat bottom that has been recovered. The drivers seat is cracking at the top seat back but still more than usable. The hydraulic window and top system are currently not functioning but I haven’t done anything trouble shooting. The windows go down but they will not go up. This is An amazing piece of automotive history and it will definitely clean up more with a proper paint correction. These cars are getting harder and harder to find and it is a unique survivor . Feel free to call or text with any questions at 203-376-5136. And make sure to check out the video here . I also have more pics and videos I can send . The car is 73 years old. It is sold as is, whereis. Serious inquiries only please. Thank you.
