I bought this Caddy May 11, 2013 from the son of the original owner. The lady had passed away and he sold it to me. It shows me as 2nd owner. I was told by the son that it was drove to California and back when it was first bought. From then on it was literally the lady driving it around a very tiny town here in Okla. I have put 66 miles on it since I got it. I do not know why the History Report says 45,442 miles and first registered in 1988. Both of those are obviously wrong. The peddle and the driver's side carpet look barely used.
I have a 9 car garage I stored it in. I would bring it out to drive 2-3 times a year. In April 2020 after the lockdown I left and stayed gone until June 2020. I had decided to sell all my collection of cars. I sold 4 last year, I have 2 others on ebay, and this one is next in line.
I never had a fuel problem until I got home last year and the gas had gone bad in it. My mechanic removed the gas, cleaned the tank, and replaced the fuel pump. It fired right up, and the interesting thing is the A/C immediately blew cold air. So that confirms no leaks after all those years
It is equiped with the rare AM/FM/CB8 Track Radio. The antenna motor needs replaced but it works fine for reception
I have lost about 90% of the use of my hands for anything mechanical, and also I can not wax the car. It does need waxing but the chrome and paint are excellent. Bumpers will look like new once they are waxed. I rinsed it off and took the photos, I noticed that the roof was a little wet still after I took the pics. It is not flaws you see in the picture.
The vinyl roof is like new. It never sat out in the sun or snow etc
The interior is also like new especially the back seats and passenger seat that were seldom - never used.
It was ordered with the dealer undercoating. I say dealer because it is what I read online that the factory did not undercoat, it was done by dealers. We do not use salt much here in Oklahoma because of very little snow, so there is no rust problems on the car.
The car as I mentioned basically sat in the garage in high summer heat for 10 years, 3 pieces of trim fell off, I have the the 2 long ones back on but I cant find the small one. I was told it is common for the trim to come off, and several I see on ebay have replaced trim. I found replacement trim on ebay. 20' for $65 and the small pointed pieces also $65. I would do the replacing myself if my hands were not hurt, then up the price :-)
The drivers fender filler also cracked and a piece came off. I have found a set of 2 online for $50
On the driver's rear fender there is a paint bubble on the bottom that lost paint,I do not know why that happened. It may have been touched up at one time and didnt stay on. Check photo
The electric drivers seat comes on but does not move the seat. I have not researched that but probably a gear replacement or something, the motor is working. As I said before, easy fixes like this I can not do because or my hands and assorted other aches and pains that I earned as a youth :-)
It is equiped with the 4-6-8 engine set up for Global Cooling of the 70s. It has been perfected now days, but back then it was a crock of crap that never worked. The 8 cylinders runs like new, The car itself drives like new plus 30k miles
MY OVERALL RATING BASED ON AGE AND MILEAGE IS
Mechanical 10
Interior 9.0 Four cracks in dash pad
Roof 10
Paint 9.0 - 9.5 tiny nicks and the small bubble at bottom of fender, see pic
Door jams 10
Weather molding rubber 9.8
Trunk 10
Engine compartment 9.0 needs cleaned up and air cleaner repainted.
Tires 10
Original tire iron 10

I never changed the plugs or changed the oil. That was done before I bought it and it has been sitting since then. So a plug inspection, and an oil and tranny fluid inspection would be a good idea.===
Message me with any questions.
Buyer sets up pick up by transport company, or pick up in person, I have checked on transporting and prices from my location to the East or West Coast range from $650 - $1100. Closer locations would be cheaper
I DO NOT TAKE STORE BOUGHT CHECKS, CASHIER'S CHECKS, MONEY ORDERS, VENMO, OR A PERSONAL CHECK, EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT A SCAM. :-) BANK TRANSFERS ARE THE FASTEST SAFEST WAY TO PAY. I AM ASSURED MY PAYMENT AND MY 28 YEARS AS AN EBAY SELLER CONFIRMS I AM NOT A SCAMMER :-) I SOLD 4 ON EBAY LAST YEAR WITH NO PROBLEMS EXCEPT THE SCAM BIDDERS.
