Vehicle Details

What you’re looking at is a gorgeous 1969 Cadillac deville. As you can see this car is a true survivor!

The engine is the factory 472 V8 and auto transmission. The engine fires right up and idles nice and smooth. The oil and filter have just been changed. An edelbrock carb has been installed. As far as i know the engine has never been opened up. It’s had a recent tune up including plugs, wires, cap and rotor.

All the factory air conditioning is still in the car, I have not converted it, so I do not know if it will work. I’ve recently changed the tailshaft gasket on the transmission as it was old and leaking. At the same time I changed out the pan gasket and filter and gave it fresh fluid. Transmission shifts nice and smooth down the road.

The suspension has been lowered a few inches. The shocks have been replaced also. Steering is tight and straight. I also went threw the brake system. It is disk front/rear drum. It has a new master cylinder. It seems the vacuum booster is going out and isn’t giving the power assist. Doesn’t effect the way the car drives, just have to press the breaks a little harder to stop.

The interior is in decent shape. Seats are comfy as they should be. Both power seats work. All power windows work besides the drivers window, I’m assuming it needs a new window motor as I can hear it click but just doesn’t want to move. The dash and door panels are in very good shape. All the gauges work including speedometer and gas needle. No check engine lights or warning lights. Carpet isn’t in the best of shape, would suggest changing it out especially for a different color other then brown.

As for the body, it’s very presentable. Gets tons of compliments for the condition it’s in. Still has the original rockers with no rust. Floorboards are all solid as you can see in the pictures. There is surface rust starting on both sides of the lower front fenders. I’m sure it could be grinded down and painted and would never be noticed. The paint does shine very well. The hard to find grille is in great shape with no missing pieces. All lights work. It does have a few dents as seen in pictures, but a good PDR person could pull them out easily.

Overall if you are looking for a fun cruiser you can take the whole family in, this is it. Does 65mph down the road nice and smooth. Floats down the road like you’d expect a Cadillac to. While this car is not perfect ‘it’s 54 years old’, it’s a great starting point without spending a bunch of money for a show car. I do have driving videos and walk around videos I can send if wanted. I can also send any other pictures wanted. If you would like to make a deal off ebay, please message me and let’s work it out! The reserve is set very low compared to the others listed on ebay. I do have a clean title in hand.
