1966 Cadillac DeVille Additional Info:
Original 1966 Cadillac DeVille 4dr hardtop. Purchased at Smith Chevrolet Cadillac in Fort Smith, AR. in late 1966. Lady owned and garage kept all its life. The owner recently moved to assisted living facility. Our shop purchased the car from her son. The car is still on the Original title with proper dealer assignment. The lady lived in a small town just 30 minutes from Fort Smith. The car was never subjected to winter weather. The car is exceptionally clean. Our pictures are of the car after just a wash job and a light wipe down of the interior. You are seeing it in its undetailed every day clothes. There is no flaws in the interior! The exterior paint is thin in spots and does have some tree sap stains and age spots. We did not wax the car or enhance these pictures. A professional cut and buff will make it much more shiny, but we thought the next owner might want to have the car refinished, and waxes will only make the prep harder. Once we moved the car to our store, the following maintenance items were performed, Oil and filter change, tune up, wires, cap, rotor, and plugs replaced. Brakes were replaced and serviced front and rear, New tires were installed. The car drives great, it has no squeaks, rattles or clunking noises! The following items are included with the sale, a new radio antenna, a set of new side window upper seals.. The originals are dry and cracking. The chrome and trim on this car are all exceptional. There has never been any modifications to this car. The car has never had any body or paint repair while in the Lady's ownership. There is a spot of lacquer checking on the top of the passenger rear fender. It is believed this was a touch up done by the selling dealer from transportation damage.,however in the 60's the factory also had to touch up a large percentage of cars from assembly scratches. All the cars accessories work as they should with the exception of the power antenna, and the a/c. The a/c will need to be serviced and or possibly replace the compressor. This is an excellent car to use as is or take to the net step with a quality repaint. Inspections are welcome, and there are videos available of the car. There also is a large number of pictures accessible at our company web sight. BlytheAuto.Com. thank you for looking .
