Available now is this one of a kind 1913 Cadillac Fire Truck. This firetruck was coach built for the city of Hemet, CA and constructed around the Cadillac Model 30 as Fire Engine No. 1. This truck features an early Cadillac engine with a copper water jacket. The vertical inline L head 4 cylinder engine with individual cast iron cylinders. Twin ignition system with twin spark plugs per cylinder. This power plant is mated to a selective 3-speed sliding gear manual transmission. Factory right hand drive configuration. Includes a hand crank starter. This Cadillac has much of the original fire equipment.
This is a remarkable one-of-a-kind vehicle that would be an excellent addition to any museum or private collection. A real piece of automotive and firefighting history.
