Purchased new in 1955 by my Great Aunt who lived in Oklahoma, and married to an executive of Tulsa wench Co, they then moved to NC after his retirement. Car has been handed down 3 generations, ending up in NC. I purchased it from the estate of my parents.Car never went for more than a one mile radius its entire life. I remember the car when my aunt would bring it to the family service station for gas and service, I was in my younger teens while working there. Car hauled all my kids to their weddings with my dad as a chauffeur, alone with many of my cousins, nieces, and nephews. Car was never in the weather, always stored inside its entire life. Here's the work performed while my dad owned it as I can remember. (30+) yrs ago. Car was repainted in lacquer to the original color. paint is flaking in some areas see pics. Interior is all original except the carpet and head liner.Door seals replaced., Still has the original spare tire never used. The rear bumper ends were replaced or I think rebuilt as none could be found. The exhaust were bad about being real corrosive on them. All other chrome and stainless is original. Exhaust is turned down now under car to prevent it from happening again. I remember no rust at all on the car before paint.. Has 1 dent near bottom at rear tire. ( dad hint an anvil with it) Rear pass. side glass cracked. Snifter knob cracked and partly missing.Has an exhaust leak. I have owned it for 8 yrs now, stored inside temp controlled shop. I get it out about 2 times a year and drive it. Always fires up. Lifters a little noisy but soon quieten down. Trany shifts perfect. Brakes pull to one side a little but get better as you drive it. Rides great. Tires are bias. Has power windows and power seats, a luxury for '55. A lot more family history I'm sure I'm leaving out. Hate to see it go, but out of room., and family has no interest in it. Email me if you have any questions. Thanks
