1969 Cadillac DeVille Additional Info:
For sale is my 1969 Cadillac Coupe Convertible. This car is as close to original as can be. Starts right up. Just added a new battery. Runs strong and smooth. Original 472 engine with only 92K original miles. Check out the last pic. Cruising at 80MPH no hands on the wheel. Driving straight and smooth. I could have had it over 100 MPH without any problem. Body is good. The pics were just taken a few weeks ago. You can see some rust on drivers side in front of the back tire and behind the front tire. Frame is solid. Interior looks original showing some wear. But looks spectacular for a 51 year old car. As far as I know everything works as it should even the power antenna. The roof motor works but may need some service. The roof will go up and down with some help. The air wasn't blowing cold. I haven't had that looked at. I haven't had this Caddy for that long. I bought it to keep and I still may. I thought I would give it one run before I tucked it away for the winter. I haven't even cleaned it since I got it. Ready to drive and enjoy as is or ready for some work without loosing the original integrity. The older gentleman I bought this from has owned it for years. He still drove it pretty regular. Obviously not in bad weather but kept it rolling. I think that is the best case for any car. Cars that are just stored seem to have more issues than ones that are driven. I do not have to sell this and almost hope I don't. I do have a reserve that is set at what I think is fair private party value. Can't be that many of these still out there especially in this original condition. It is available to see if you are in the Pittsburgh area. I will try to answer any questions asked. I will add some pics also. Thanks for your interest. This is American history at its best.
