1959 Cadillac Custom Streetrod Additional Info:
This 1959 Cadillac Custom is the kind of vehicle that takes an amazing amount of vison, patience, and skill to create something so absolutely wild. And just in case they didn't see you coming in this bold green machine, there's a dual quad supercharged big block that loves to growl, too.
It's hard to know where to start describing a build like this. Every inch is about a custom craftsmanship that fuses so many different elements to create one uniform and unique street machine. Up front is a widened radiator shroud from a '32 Ford and the cowl is custom crafted from a '37 Chevy. The doors give this car its Cadillac namesake with a blend of doors from 1959 and 1960. And this narrows the iconic '59 Caddy rear end with those huge tailfins. This full creation is not just chrome era parts, they even integrated the double-hump tonneau from a Pontiac Solstice. It's all dipped in a lime green with plenty of metallic flake. You'll also spot subtle pieces like green pinstriping and a darker metallic on the frame. And if you check out the trunk, the Rat Fink style graphic is actually a custom piece paying tribute to this car's creator, Butch Reeves and his son Clint. So it's a true master build that also respects its history.
Inside is more of the awesome custom appearance. The dash is expertly integrated from a '55 Chevy, including its speedometer, which will need servicing. There's more metallic green everywhere from the button-top seat to the narrow steering wheel. Even the windshield is green! The Rat Fink floor mats coordinate with the Rat Fink shifter in the middle. It's all part of a package that's designed to impress as much as the exterior.
More than just style, this custom Caddy has substance. That's why the huge motor is always in display. Starting from the top and going down, you have dual Holley four-barrel carburetors, a Mike Kuhl Racing carb spacer, Weiand 6-71 supercharger, and a Holley Pro-Dominator intake. It all sits on top of a 454 cubic-inch big block V8. Oh yeah, this Caddy has power! And just like the rest of the car, you can see that it's built with care. That's why you have good supporting components, like an HEI distributor, steel braided lines, and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan. Plus, those HPC zoomies really make sure this custom machine has a ferocious growl. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission was new in 2016, and it's a stout unit built to handle big power. This feeds a narrowed Ford 9-inch rear that connects to those wide rear drag tires. As you look underneath at the suspension photos, you see a full custom chassis with a four-link front end, front wheel disc brakes, and adjustable coilover in the rear.
You know you can't beat this level of custom crafted work. And the amount of man-hours it would take to even try would cost you more than this custom's price. So you know you're looking at an amazing deal for a powerful one-of-a-kind street machine. Call today!!!
