1962 Cadillac convertible *CALIFORNIA CRUISER*

1962 Cadillac Series 62 Additional Info:

First, a warning: do not consider bidding on this car unless you're willing to receiveendless thumbs up and honks! Up for sale is this good driving California Cadillac convertible. Itfloats along just like a Cadillac should, and the design is so great you can have a conversation while flying down the highway without having to raise your voice. This car is not a six-figure Barret Jackson trailer queen, this is a Pacific Coast Highway cruiser. The paint shines up nice but it's not perfect; there's nicks here and there from being driven. No dents. Doors and trunk open and close like a new car. It has nice interior with the desirable bucket seats and trim package. It has a newer classic-looking radio that you can hook your ipod or iphone up to. I do still have the original radio, if you want it.
The motor is a good running 390. The transmission was replaced six years ago and shifts perfect. Brand new tires with less than 300 miles on them. The water pump is fairly new and the radiator was boiled and flushed. New motor mounts and belts. The carburetor has been rebuilt within the last couple of years. The exhaust is new from the manifolds back. New gas tank also. Being here in California, the convertible top has pretty much never been up, so the fabric is in great shape and the rear window is clear and not faded.
The car has factory air conditioning and cruise control but they are not currently working. The cruise control needs a new cable. There are some bubbles in the paint on the lower rockers, near the doors (see pictures). These aren't very noticeable because of the way the body contour pulls in, but I posted pics for you to see.
