1968 Cadillac Eldorado Additional Info:

You are viewing a quite nicely optioned 1968 Cadillac Eldorado. As you can see from the photos, it is blue (factory coded firemist) with a white vinyl top and white interior. It is showing 76,145 miles (previous owner included mileage affidavit), and it has the venerable 472 cubic inch V8 and automatic transmission. This Eldorado is equipped with the very rare "front seat warmer" along with these other options:

  • cruise
  • t and t steering wheel
  • climate control
  • six-way power seat
  • twilight sentinel
  • power door locks
  • padded vinyl roof
  • AM/FM stereo radio with dual front and rear speakers
  • Guide-matic power headlight dimmer
  • rear window defogger
  • door edge guards
  • white sidewall tires
  • auxiliary horn (it appears to be installed on this Eldorado)
  • firemist coded paint color
  • leather upholstery
  • front seat warmer (mentioned above)

I've checked this Eldorado over quite carefully and it appears that all these options are present, which makes it very rare and collectible, especially in light of the fact that this generation Eldorado has become extremely sought-after in recent years. I would characterize this Cadillac as somewhere between moderately and heavily patinaed (scratches, blemishes, etc..), so to elevate it to show quality would require some paintwork. And whilst being extremely rust-free, it does appear to have been repainted sometime in its life. It runs and drives extremely well and has the unmistakable presence of an Eldorado. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. And, in fact, I'd be more than happy to, as this Eldorado is the best driving one I've owned (out of 10 over my collecting lifetime) to date. Please call me with any questions and keep in mind that I am always willing to consider trades; sometimes the more creative, the better. I'm particularly interested in old Cadillacs, Chryslers, Jags and MB's. Thanks again for taking the time to view this unique Eldorado.
