1979 Cadillac Phaeton !!! super rare diesel !!! this cadillac was first owned by a gm executive for its first year to show off the Phaeton model and to promote the diesel engine..... I HAVE THE ORIGINAL FACTORY WINDOW STICKER, AND DEALER BROCHURE.....
first id like to say I am not super excited to sell this cadillac, I have wanted one of these for decades and have it in my private collection but sometimes for financial reasons we must sell something we don't always wish to! if someone wants it more than I, here is your chance to do so...
its in excellent shape, inside and out, undercarriage and frame are excellent, paint is beautiful, phaeton roof is excellent, leather seats are great as well... the car obviously needs the rear fillers painted and installed, i just purchased the set of 2 and will include them in the trunk... this phaeton is in better condition now than the one used in the goodfellas movie 30 years ago !!!! I will even include the movie replica license plates and a vintage 1970s pack of winston's on the dash ! alternator was rebuilt and 2 brand new batteries installed today.
years ago the diesel engine was upgraded by gm dealer under warranty to the "new" version.
I am 3rd owner of this cadillac, the 2nd owner purchased it in late 1980 and he had it until the day I purchased it...
