1993 Cadillac Allante RARE 2 SEAT ROADSTER OFFICIAL INDY 500 PARADE CAR Additional Info:
Available for your consideration is a 1993 Cadillac Allante 2 seater Roadster Convertible powered by a 4.6L 295 Hp 280.7 Cubic Inch Northstar engine. 1993 produced 4,670 Cadillac Allante's. This is one of 30 that was used in the 1992 Indy 500 as a Festival / Pace car from there it was shipped to Roth Cadillac to be sold. It was purchased by a high end vehiclereseller Company Marshall Goldman who then sold it to this owner who passed away years ago and the car has been holding in storage ever since. This was one of two Allantes owned by this person we sold the other late last year to a person in Chicago. This vehicle has only 38,559 original miles. A great running and driving vehicle. The Northstar engine that separates the 93 Allantes from the rest of the other years really gives this car the edge it is extremely fast with a top speed of 140mph an capable of the 1/4 mile in 15.0 seconds flat making this the fastest front wheel drive two seater roadster of it's time. Such a fun vehicle to drive. The Allante started production in 1986 and lasted till July of 1993. I am certain if Cadillac would of produced the bodies here and would of designed the Northstar much sooner this car would of stayed in production way longer than it did. This vehicle cost GM $5,000.00 per unit loss. The bodies were designed by Pininfarina in Italy the famous car maker and these bodies were flown on a special made Boeing 757 and shipped to the US assembly plant where the went on the chassis. This was quite a process. This particular Allante has been kept nice inside and out and is free of odors. The inside looks great and could use a clean from sitting. Everything does seem to work well including the top. The antenna is stuck in the up position and the airbag light comes and goes, the only other thing I could possibly think of is a freshen up on the A/C from sitting otherwise you will find this car to run, drive, handle and operate great. Very enjoyable to drive with the top up or down. I would not be afraid to drive this vehicle anywhere. I am gonna have a quick service, oil change and lube done to assure if your from out of state and plan on a road trip you have no issues driving anywhere. Great looking car the leather is in awesome shape as a 38,000 mile car should be. The car shines like the day it left the showroom floor. A beautiful burgundy pearl metallic. The body and paint look great you will find the typlcal from 38,000 miles of usage the only outstanding spots that show are on the left fender lower into the door a scrape and rear edge of passenger door a ding. Would of had areas fix but rather someone see they are small and wont take much to have fixed and keep original. If your looking for a unique vehicle and not your run ofa mill car this would be for you it gets attention everywhere hard to believe in todays world only 21,000 ever made and in 1993 4,670 and 30 of these were used in the Indy Parade. This car comes with the original Indy 500 designated Allante gold Key ring. These were only with the pace, festival / parade cars. This also comes with the original Pace car decals that were placed on this car when used in the Indy 500. They are in the factory OEM box. This vehicle is being sold to the highest bidder NO RESERVE!!!! This car is available for inspection anytime during this auction. Please come look at this car and drive it so your inspection gives you the confidence in your bidding process. A very rare vehicle being sold to the highest bidder ....Good luck Bidding. I have a free & clear Ohio Title ready for transfer to the New Owner. If you have any questions at all please feel free to ask. This is a car that needs to be seen to appreciate. Thanks for taking the time to view my auction. For the Allante people sorry for all the facts on Allantes in the descrption but that was for the people who may find the vehicle fascinating and would like a little history to know more about what they maybe interested in purchasing. Thanks again to everyone!!!! NO RESEVRE!!!!!

Additional information to any ebayers interested in this Allante as any vehicle that is special or may be limited in numbers there is controversy. I have another fellow ebayer who feels this Allante vin does not fit into the registry that it was indeed a parade car he feels the vin number is 300 off. When I purchased this car is was told to me that it went from Roth Cadillac To Marshall Goldman the reason Marshall Goldman a high end exotic vehicle company purchased the vehicle cause it was usedat theIndy 500 this taken place years ago when new. I asked this person where he got his info and he claimshe is in anCadillacXLR club he seems sincere and seems to be concerned about my vehicle for whatever reason even though no intentions to buy it. He claims he is the one who put the registry together and he would know. He very well may be right. I also know being very well aware of the Cleveland 500 for years and George Shima Buick Handled it that there was allotted vehicles for this race over the years and it would include pace cars, parade cars and festival cars used for any activity to and from the race and around the race by officials, celebrity's, GM employee's and who ever GM wanted to let used the cars during race week. Knowing the person who set this up cars would get wrecked and damaged also and replacement vehicles would go in so it is really hard to actually track each and every vehicle cause even though some people think every car is accounted for they are not. I have been there myself and know this. A lot of these vehicles are stripped of all there decals and transferred all over the country after the participating dealer gets them back from the race. Now as far as this car I believe it was at Indy and used. It does not enhance value any whatsoever unless it is one of the actual 3 pace cars which none are available. I am selling this car No Reserve to the highest bidder. I am telling you everything I know about the vehicle. It is a low miles vehicle that has been kept in a garage for years the original owner died and the parents had this car for years the father just recently went into a home and I obtained the vehicle. I purchased there other Allante about a year ago a black 93 and sold it to a very nice gentleman in Chicago who bought for his father that had cancer. I am not trying to mislead or mis advertise this car as a Indy 500 Parade car I am telling you the facts I have about the car. I also want to let you know I can not guarantee these facts they are just what I have been told. So no gurantee. I believe it to be true and past experience with these pace/parade cars you just cant go by numbers... Numbers should be accurate but 300 off it makes sense this was possibly a replacement car for the track. I will leave it up to you. The parade car does not enhance the value at all it does add to the story of the car it just does not add to dollars and cents. This is a low miles 1993 Allante and is sought after regardless. This person seems to continue to email me so I wanted to add this and hopefully he feels this will satisfy him. I live in a worldwhen many are not happy and I will do my best to keep as many happy as possible. Thank you!!!! Good luck bidding this is a beautiful automobile!!!
