You are bidding on a 1975 Cadillac Coupe Deville. I bought this car in July of 2014 from a man who bought it from the original owner. The car had not been running since 1981 where it was parked in the garage. It still has the 1981 Pa inspection sticker on the windshield!
The man I bought it from got it running again, hanged the fluids, elts, oses, ew battery, ew tires, iper motor. I have changed the power steering pressure line as it got a leak after I bought it..
The car was under coated back in the day I believe that's what's kept it such a solid car, ou can still see the thick undercoating underneath the car..There's no rot anywhere but the car does have some surface rust on it in a few spots but NO HOLES! The car could use a paint job.The car runs and drives as it should, believe the carb could use some adjusting as the car smells like gas a lot..
The AC doesn't work, he power antenna stoped working. The windshield on the outside of the car on the right side has some noticeable scratches on it. The car needs a new hear riser ( when the car runs you can hear this horrid clanking sound) I thought it was the motor tapping but the mechanic I took it to told me it's called a heat riser and it has to do with the exhaust system, t does not effect the car being driven as I still drive it with the noise.The body has some surface rust, cratches and dents. The car is not perfect but if someone had some time and some money it could be a perfect candidate to restore as its a solid complete car.These are the defects that I've found in my time of owning the car and driving it, 've put about 1,000 miles on it since I got it.
I have the rear wheel cylinders and valve cover gaskets to go with the car as I was going to change them but never got around to doing so.
The car is being sold as is with no warranty.
The low book value of the car is $2,900 I'mSelling it for less due to a personal emergency I just need the money out of it to take care of some problems. My loss is ur gain!
Mileage on car might be a little higher than it says as I'm driving it for a few days..
