1975 Cadillac Eldorado Additional Info:
As rare as they come.... this is a 1975 Eldorado Station Wagon. A factory order through a few select dealers, this station wagon was available for order at a HUGE cost from 1968-1975. Once ordered, an Eldorado was taken off the assembly line and transported to a factory authorized customizer (in this case WISCO) for customization (similar to the relationship Callaway has with the Chevrolet dealers on the Corvettes or AMG with Mercedes - Benz until they became a subsidiary)
One of TWO made in 1975, there were probably no more than 20 made during the total run from 1968-1975. Much rarer than any Cadillac you can think of. There were thousands of Talisman cars made, hundreds of Fleetwood and Sedan Deville station wagons, hundreds of Demarchand and Chicago devilles, or San Remo, or Milano, or Phaeton, or Opera coupe, or Superfly cars.... folks there may be 3 or 4 of these left IN THE WORLD that are running and driving and look nice and this one is a great one. less than 55k original miles, the interior and exterior are in really nice shape. Because it's an ELDORADO it's a front wheel drive car, and because it's a 1975 it has the wonderful and legendary 500 cu in engine with the carburetor. Because it's a Cadillac it's fully loaded with an elegant leather interior and power amenities. The car has never been hit, it runs great from the engine to the transmission to the brakes and tires (which are both fairly new). The air conditioning has been converted to R134 and blows cold, the heat blows hot, the power windows and power door locks work fine, heck even the factory 8 track radio works !!! The original and custom made and installed vinyl roof is in excellent condition with no cracks or tears.
This is one of a kind. I've been going to Cadillac car shows for decades and I had never seen another one so when I saw this one I had to grab it. However the time has come to pass it on. It is currently registered, inspected and insured and I drive it once or twice a month, no issues if you want to fly in and drive it home !!! The car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Shipping if needed is going to be your cost and will depend on how far away you are from Long Island NY. If you have any questions contact me BEFORE bidding at 516 - three nine five - 6017. I have clear title in my name, I'm a private collector not a dealer so don't ask about financing, there is none available from me. If you need a loan get one from a lender on your own. I would consider interesting (I love really low mileage original cars) trades of equal value or lower with cash from you to me so please reach out to me if that's something you are interested in.
Lastly..... this is a RARE AND UNIQUE AND ANTIQUE vehicle of which there are no comparable vehicles out there.... if you think it's worth 5k or 10k please save your typing and time and don't message me because you have no idea what you're looking at. NO it's not a hearse or a funeral car... check out the internet for photos of those and you'll see the differences... many payment methods accepted, but obviously all payments will have to fully clear before the title gets signed and the car leaves my possession.
