1968 Cadillac DeVille Convertible Additional Info:

Original 472 C.I. motor with 375 HP. Same owner since 1993 and in storage since 2014. Convertible top works perfectly and extensive mechanical work completed prior to engine failure. Needs engine rebuild ($2300 approx including new pistons with American parts) but crank seems fine. The engine turns over and runs but smokes. Needs new metal in several places on the body and in the trunk (costs about $300 for the trunk). Needs a frame patch in one small section which costs about $500. Most of the body and the floor pans, engine bay, hood and trunk area and lid in good condition as well as the frame. Convertible top works perfectly and is waterproof but worn, original blue leather needs only partial replacement, and the back bumper needs re-chroming. Most of the car has its original blue paint. Trans, brakes, AC worked properly when put in storage. This is a project car that is perfect for someone who does bodywork himself or has a good body and paint guy. I can help the buyer get great prices to do the engine work, body and paint, and partial leather replacement. I am too busy to do this project and am out of room for any more cars.
