1985 Cadillac Eldorado Eldorado Additional Info:
Here we have a pristine 1985 Cadillac Eldorado with 15,111 miles on the odometer. One look at the car tells you it is accurate. I had the pleasure of purchasing this car 5 years ago when it had just under 9K miles on it. The car has not set idle since I have it....having put 6K miles on it. The car was originally purchased near Chicago, IL and then resided in the same family in New York City. While in the City itwas driven mostly for shopping trips. 6 or so years ago it was passed down to a family member near Detroit, MI from whom I bought thecar. He trailer the car from NYC to MI. I drove it from MI to Ozark, MO where I live. There were some small issues with the car that onceI had it back in MO I had taken care of. The power antenna was broken off and replaced, now working perfectly. That was not an easy fix.The fender and inner fender had to be removed to replace it. There was a minor issue with the fuel pump.....which I had replaced. The air conditioning did not work. There was no serious problem as once freon was added it worked flawlessly. At that time I had the freon updated to current standards. The paint on the car is 70% original. Someone hit the driver side rear panel in a parking lot. I had the dentremoved and they indicated to me that the rear trunk had been re-painted.....however they saw no damage. Just recently I replaced all thefront and back bumper fillers and was paint matched. In January there was a transmission leak.....I had the Cadillac dealer replace all underside seals for both the transmission and engine. Total cost $2400. The Chrome and bright work on this car is exceptionally bright. The Cabriolet Roof (Cranberry) is in excellent condition. The opera lights on the rear roof work. In fact every thing on this car is in good working condition. The V8 4100 engine is digital fuel Injected. There have never been any issues with this engine. Oil has been changed every 6 months to keep it fresh. The automatic transmission is a 4 speed and also performs flawlessly. I have put a maroon carpet cover over the dash to protect it. It is not cracked.....in fact there are no blemishes to the interior of this car. The pillows come with the car. I replaced the AM/FM radio with a Pioneer AM/FM CD Player that takes a USB Connection. The original radio comes with the car. The previous owner put the Rolls Royce Type Grille on the car. I personally like it. I do have the original grille and the top chrome molding. I am not sure if I have everything....I was told that it was it. Those also come with the car. Also included is a complete body cover. This car has a very loud theft devise installed. You can see the locking devise on the 11th picture. I have not been able to find any information from Cadillac or from the local dealer on it. What I do know.....it Works! There is only one key. You move the cover aside and put in thespecially made key to arm the devise. If you open the doors a siren goes off.....and it is loud. It will definitely attract attention. There is also a toggle switch under the dash to set it off. Has a Cadillac name on the plate and was made by ACE Chicago Lock Company. That is all I can provide. You set the alarm after you have locked the Cadillac. The headliner on the car was drooping and I had a matching colornew liner installed. This car charges to life when you start the car. It runs strong and runs true down the road. The car runs/drives like itdid in 1985 when it came off the show room floor. This car appears to have been stored in a garage its entire life. It has been garaged since I have had it. It has never been smoked it. Ash trays are clean. There is a remote for the Pioneer radio. I have the original window sticker and build sheet. There is also an owners manual and Pioneer audio manual. I will be sorry to see this delightful Cadillac go. I have only a 2 car garage and now have 2 new cars. The Cadillac will remain in the garage until the Cadillac is sold. Would certainly like to see this charming car go to a caring owner. It has provided 5 years of entrainment for me. I have more photos of the car and paperwork. If you email me your email address I will forward them to you. You can also reach me at 417-485-0244. Emails will go out the same day, but probably in the early evening. Car is also being advertised locally so I reserve the right to end the sale on ebay should it sell. The car has 4 WSW tires that are in good condition. There is also an automatic trunk pull down that works. Do not slam the trunk. The titleis clear and waiting for the new owner. $500 PayPal payment required within 24 hours of sale. Total amount must be paid by Casher's Check prior to release of the car. Pick up ONLY. If there are any questions you have.....be sure to contact me through ebay or phone. I want this to be a super transaction for you.
NOTE: Door edge guards, Original carpeted embossed floor mats, telescoping steering wheel are also on the car. The Wire Wheel Covers are in great condition. Shortly after I purchased the car I was offered $250 per hub cap. They are highly valued. The front fendersignal and light units work. Refer to picture #14. Some of the equipment is listed above in item specifications. One quick note....as you can see from the reflections of the paint and chrome.....this is one fine automobile. Car Final assembly Point was New Jersey, USA.
