1958 Cadillac Series 60 Special Fleetwood: Very nicely preserved / restored Elvis- Era luxury car. Unusual paint code 44 (Buckskin) with white top and tan interior.
The previous owner stated the car came from California, and the car is exceptionally clean and straight, with no rust. Shows 65,631 miles. Original chrome very nice, except some minor pitting on tail light housings. Entire rear bumper is newly rechromed. Working power seats, windows, and power vent windows. No AC. Previous owner had motor professionally rebuilt (about 10 years ago, have detailed receipts) and runs very strong. Over the past year it has received new carpet, new correct seat upholstery, new door and trunk rubber seals, new brakes with master cylinder and hoses, and new dual exhaust (have receipts). Engine compartment nicely detailed. Runs and drives very well and attracts lots of attention, especially at Fifties events.
Repaint in correct original color is about 10 years old and still looks like new. There are a few very minor dings in the side stainless. Windshield has one minor stone chip, side glass is still very nice. Tires have lots of tread – but they appear to be very old. Underside of car is quite clean, with some surface rust and old factory undercoating.
Clearly this elegant car has always been well cared for and garaged. I am listing this car for a friend and can provide his phone number for detailed information. Sold as is and no warranty, buyer must arrange transport. Car is located in SE Dallas area 75088. Thanks for viewing this auction. Seller has experience with shipping cars overseas through Port of Houston, Texas.
This car nearly reached reserve last week and we offered it to the high bidder at their price. No response. Bid to win, this car runs great and there are over $6600 in mechanical restoration receipts alone.
