Thank you for looking at our super clean 1968 Cadillac Eldorado Survivor. We believe this car to be all original. This car was owned by a doctor in the East Side of Cleveland. When he bought the car, he bought it as an extra car and never drove it in the bad weather or the winter. He passed away about 7 or 8 years ago and there's been 5 to 7,000 dollars of mechanical work done by two different owners, including brakes (front and rear), exhaust work, and rebuilt engine due to age. The vacuum system for the lights was fixed, including a $350 switch that was factory packaged from 1968 to keep the car original and correct. Many odds and ends were done like valve cover gaskets, tuneup, new water pumpand a whole lot more. This car starts, sounds good and drives very nicely. The exhaust tailpipe rattles at low idle. The hanger has to be adjusted and tightened up.
This Eldorado has tilt and telescopic wheel with power seat. If you're a big guy like I am, you can still find a lot of comfort with the adjustments. The interior of this car doesn't look much different than it did fifty years ago. The vinyl top is all in good condition. The body and bumpers look fresh, crisp and clean, exactly the way the pictures present the car. The underneath of the vehicle is solid, and so is the trunk. The motor compartment is all original, not repainted. There are a few tiny scratches on the body of this car. As long as its been out of the original owner's hands, it has not been touched up.
It also has air shocks on the rear of the car with a valve in the trunk area shown in the pictures if you want to raise it or lower it. It would probably take at least a year for them to come down. I have not added any air in 6 months and it looks perfect. The spare tire on this vehicle will have to be fixed or replaced because it's not a good tire. I have this car priced at an average retail price, which is $8,000 from high retail, so whoever buys this car is not only going to get a fabulous car, they're going to get a great deal on a car that's only going up in value.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL BIDDERS!
