1975 Cadillac DeVille -- Additional Info:
1975 Cadillac Coupe DeVille with only 9400 Actual MilesMINT condition All original except for a beautiful repaint in its factory color Pueblo Beige, (code 38).This beautiful Cadillac looks and is, as good as new with very few exceptions. The fresh repaint came over 20 years ago and still looks incredible today. Garage kept, rarely driven and impeccably maintained, its no wonder! The chrome and trim also appear as new with NO pitting, dings or defects at all.The interior is 100% original and virtually perfect! Leather seats have no tares or cracks, no dash cracks and all gauges are crystal clear and all work properly. The owner actually purchased a custom made dash pad with the Cadillac emblem to protect the dash from the sun. It is shown in the photos of the trunk. We cant stress enough the fact that this a 9400 mile classic from 1975. That equates to just under 220 miles per year and it shows! Features include the full array of what you would expect from a 5th generation Cadillac Coupe Deville. Power steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, tilt & telescopic steering wheel, Climate Control air conditioning, AM-FM stereo with power antenna, 8-way power seats, 3speed wipers, glove box trunk release, wood finishings and more! All work as they should. The engine specs on this Coupe DeVille are impressive! The engine is the factory original, 9400 actual mile S-code 500ci, 220hp engine @4000rpm with an 8.5:1 compression ratio and 380lbs of torque. Transmission is a GM Turbo Hydramatic THD400 automatic 3speed. Carburetor is a Rochester 4barrel. All are original and still on this big Caddy. The Coupe DeVille weighed in at a sizable 5050 lbs and was priced between $8600-$9000 in 1975. It was 230.7 inches long (19.25 ft). The engine runs perfectly has plenty of power for its size. It will easily keep up with today's traffic. Stopping is made easy with power brakes. Brand new 15" radial tires get her around town. The undercarriage is immaculate with absolutely no rust however there is one small flaw we'd like to mention. After all, no 40 year old classic is perfect. There are a few very small paint bubbles that appeared shortly after the 20 year old repaint on the drivers side just below the vinyl top. (as shown in the very last photo) This was a common occurrence on these and many cars during the vinyl top age when water would accumulate under the top and could not escape. These bubbles have not spread at all since appearing 20+ years ago. This car has passed its daily driver stage and it is doubtful this car will ever see another drop of rain. All exterior lighting, signals, backup lights, interior lighting, wipers and everything else works as they were designed. There are no modifications of any kind to the interior, exterior or the engine. This is car was left exactly as it left the factory, unrestored and original. It starts and drives as the best Cadillac should, with no issues at all. It recently passed its annual New York State inspection and it has a clear NYS title. There are no leaks or drips to speak of. This is a no issue, no disappointment cruiser that you will certainly love!
