1993 Cadillac Allante, Black with tan leather interior, 71K miles. Recent mechanical inspection and extensive service completed, including 4 new Continental tires, rear brakes, front struts and other front end work. This car runs and drives well. Black over tan is a rare combination for 1993 and looks fantastic. The black convertible top is in good shape. The paint shines and the interior looks great after full detail. Additional photos available upon request, these are a little dark.
Remaining Issues with the car: one of the convertible top motors is not working, and I was told this is likely an issue with the relay. The interior dash lights in the center console are out, and I am told it needs a twilight sensor replacement. The oil pressure light comes on. Given the car was recently serviced and safety checked, this is likely another sensor issue. The car is also leaking some oil.
I purchased this car in the spring, and used it for weekend driving in the summer. I am not handy, nor do I have the time at this point to dedicate to finding an authorized Allante shop for the issues. The relays and sensors are not big jobs, but the right people need to handle this car. Finally, I don’t have the garage space to keep the car through the winter. Sad to say, it must go.
This hard to find car (black/tan 93) has low miles, and once these last repairs are complete it will make an Allante fan very happy!
