This beautiful car had only two west-coast owners prior to my purchase, the second of which owned the car since 1969. This car has ALWAYS been garaged and from 1969 to 2016 was in a climate controlled, zero-light facility. And it shows. The long-term owner was 85 years old when I purchased the car and it has under 78,0000 original miles. The car is completely original and unmolested except for a $10,000 high-quality repaint in the original color in 2012. Everything works, the glass is beautiful, and it runs and drives very well but could probably use a tune-up. The original white leather interior is in very good condition with some wear but remarkable for 50 years old. The dash is flawless. No rust ever. Beautiful floors trunk and frame. Incredibly rattle and squeak free with the top up or down... truly remarkable as I have owned many convertibles and this car is by far the best in this regard. I absolutely love this car but circumstances require that I part with it. it is registered and insured in my name. See my feedback and buy with confidence. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere but beware... the tires are pretty old. They probably have less than 2000 miles on them but my guess is they are at least 10 years old. This is an EXCEPTIONAL vintage car. I have owned many, many old cars and this is the finest original car I have ever some across.I paid $25K last year. Not selling to make money.
