1964 Cadillac DeVille Convertible First Year DeVille Convertible Triple White / 7.0L 429cid V8 100,000+Miles (odometer has rolled over)/ Turbo-Hydromantic transmission Vin # 64F134964.
The Interior:
Seat upholstery, door panels andBlack Carpet anddash are in very good shape (a couple of buttons are missing on the seats). The power white convertible topisBrand New and works great. Alpine stereois located in the glove box, and hasspeakers in the doors, and onein thecenter of the rearbench, as well as aMemphis amplifier anda 12" sub woofer (located in the trunk).Power windows, top, and seat all in good working condition. Heater and A/C currently not working. Five-digit odometer reads 03408, which we believe has rolled over once. Speedometer works, but the gas gauge is not reading accurately. Comfort Control Thermostat is missing from the dash. All the courtesy lights work. Not shown, but included will bebrand new white seat belts for the front. There is a small indentionon the passenger armrest.
The Exterior:
White over white suits the DeVille Convertible very well. There are some small bubbles beginning to form under the paint at the very bottom on the drivers side rocker(3 bubbles) the body is very straight, and in very good condition for her age. The paint is in overall great condition (always garaged). All the chrome is very nice throughout; chrome has a mirror-like finish. 1962 Cadillac Hubcaps are in great shape, with no dings or damage (I liked the look of the 1962 caps better than the 1964 caps).White Wall Bias Ply Tires are in goodshape.
Under the Hood / Under the Car:
This Cadillac runs and drives very well. The original 429 engine was rebuilt a few years ago, and has about 2K miles on it since the rebuild. The car starts right up without fault, tracks straight under both acceleration and braking, pulls smoothly and without hesitation. The automatic transmission shifts nice. Underneath, the car is in good shape. All structural components are rock solid, and the floors are excellent. The car has been lowered 3" front and rear with new Jamco Deluxe lowering kit as well as a Power Front Disc Brake were installed and has drastically improved the stopping ability. Dual exhaust tucked up nice tight for max clearance.
Overall, this 1964 Convertible is an excellent condition. We’ve had a ton of fun with it, and is sure to make the next owner very happy.
