1966 Cadillac DeVille convertible Additional Info:
Purchased 50 years ago by Winston Davis ofBethesda Md a Topographical Engineer for the U S government in DC (parking permits still in place on bumpers)from Suburban Cadillac Oldsmobile in Bethesda. The Cadillac was registered in his wife Kathryn's name after his passing with 47k actual miles showing on the 1997 Maryland certificate of title signed by the couple's daughter who is theexecutor of theirestate.Thetransferable title as well as the Letter ofAdministration and the 30 day TemporaryRegistrationPermit, signed by Mr Davis, will go to the new owner. The car is a greatexample of an untouchedsurvivor as you can see by the pics. There are some dents and scrapes and very little rust but you seeexactly what you're bidding on.The car is very well and unusually equipped with bucketseats, powerdriver, andconsole, tilt and telescopewheel, headlightsentinel, climate control and am/fm stereo.I have had the brakesoverhauledincluding newmaster, rubberlines, some metallines, wheelcylinders, and new front brake drums, replaced the water pump,4 newradials, newbattery, alternator, complete tuneup, rebuilt thecarburetor, transmission servicefluid, filter and newmodulator, new A frame bushings and balljoints, and new rear power window motors,(allwindow mechanisms have been lubricated and are very fast up and down as is theconvertible top. This car is an outstandingdriver, super quiet engine andexhaust, smooth transmission and Cadillac ride! Please email or request a phone number if you'd like to call with questions.I monitor my auctions closely and cancel and block all zero bidders and those with excessive retractions.Bid what you are comfortable with and don't bother asking about the reserve.Thank you.
