1951 Cadillac Other Additional Info:
1951 Cadillac Series 62 Sedan for sale. Original numbers matching car. Wonderful cosmetics and excellent mechanics/electrics. Empress Blue (original color -- repainted a few years ago) over gray interior (again, original color and fabrics, redone recently). Much chrome redone. Starts very, very easily and runs and shifts beautifully. Still 6v, but a strong 6v car. Radio, clock and speedo inop. Subtle, invisible upgrades to ignition and 6v electrics (by master technician specializing in 1949-1956 Cadillacs) to improve functionality (6v alternator that looks like the stock generator, Optima battery inside a DELCO case, Pertronix ignition inside the stock distributor, auxiliary ground strap for starter, etc). A very "happy car" that works well without a lot of fuss or attention.
Factory options: fog lights, deluxe heater, seeking radio (Wonderbar) with vacuum powered antenna, rear defroster, rear speaker, deluxe wheel covers (Sombreros -- the hubcaps pictured are from a 54/55 Cad and I will replace them with the correct Sombreros before delivery).
Clean title, but Georgia does not issue paper titles for cars this old, so sold on proper bill of sale/registration. True mileage unknown (like most 65-year-old cars).
Wonderful car. Priced well under the market at $17,500 for quick and easy sale.
