Thanks for looking. Up for your consideration is thefinal editionof the true four door hardtop Cadillacs, a 1976 Sedan de Ville. At nearly 231" long,it is also the last of the "proper sized" Cadillacs to roll off the assembly line. As all 62 series Cadillacs were, this example is powered by the legendary 500 cubic inch/ 8.2 Litre engine (this one carbuerated), coupled to the big Turbo-Hydramatic 400 transmission. I was told it has been in the original family from new until 2015. It's evident this car has been pampered and well cared for. I drove many of these back in the 1970's when they were new and, even though this one has 85,000 miles, it truly feels like one that has a quarter of the mileage. It is an absolute joy to drive in all respects! Please see videos. Recent service includes all new brakes including front rotors, a fresh set of correct tread pattern GM design 1.6" whitewall radials (expensive), center link, tie rod ends, four shocks, radiator, alternator, and careful normal servicing with fresh motor oil, filter and all point lubrication performed by me. The AC is now on 134 and blows nice and cold, the climate control works as it did when new as do all power features with the exception of the power antenna (needs new cable) and clock. The drivers side view mirror has to be adjusted manually, I think one of the cables is loose. All lights, turn signals, horn andwipers are in proper working order. A good spare tire, jack and lug wrench are present. This Caddy is ready to enjoy right now!

The paint on this car is 80% original and looks magnificent! That being said, upon close inspection, you could argue the car needs a repaint to be a national show winner. (I will sell this de Ville for less than half the price of a # 1 example). The most obvious problems are a mismatch on L/S quarter and amateur blend work on portion of drivers side hood and fender. There is NO evidence of any accident and only light surface rust underneath. (The car was not garaged in the last two years until I got it). The antique light blue leather interior feels justthe waythey did when new. I have many additional pictures upon request.
I'm an old car hobbyist. I like to buy them, fix them up to enjoy and try to re-sell at a modest profit, plain and simple. I'm always interested in Cadillacs, Buicks, big Oldsmobiles and Pontiacs, Lincolns and first generation Mustangs. Imay consider trading. Please call 973-366-5853 with any questions.
