1978 Cadillac DeVille Additional Info:

NO RESERVE!Sunday Driver or Freeway Flier.1978 Cadillac Sedan DeVille.
This Cadillac made her maiden voyage down Route 12 in August of '77 when she rolled off the line of Clark Street Assembly at Detroit. She's spent her whole life in just two families, and with just less than 25,000 verified actual miles, the 425 cu. in. 7.0L V8 and Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed run like new. The original Rochester Quadrajet carb was just rebuilt and a comprehensive tune-up was done including new plugs & wires, new distributor, rotor, cap, & coil, timing set and verified, and all new fluids, filters, and seals.
New master cylinder, rear wheel cylinders along with shoes, springs, and drums. New rotors, pads, calipers, and brake hoses in the front. New wheel bearings and fresh grease all around. New battery, blower motor, Bosch premium wipers, fresh oil, and a WIX filter. New windshield, headliner, dual-tone horn, new AC compressor with R134a, new heat riser and thermac controls, new vacuum hoses, and air intake hose. She was just painted last year. The Mastercraft white walls have less than 1,000 miles on them. Interior is in great shape with original, matching floor mats (headliner was replaced as mentioned due to some normal sagging). Provenance is rich with this car from sales and service records to manuals and even the GM shop manual and diagrams including all supplements. Keychain is even the original from the dealer. Includes a set of wire wheel covers — an upgrade option for the '78 model year — in addition to the set pictured on the car. The factory AM/FM radio with automatic antenna and eight track stereo system work great. Cruise control works perfectly.
The driver seat does show some evidence of wear, but no cracks and some of the exterior chrome components could use a good polishing. Besides that, be ready to keep her filled up with premium unleaded. The tank holds just over 25 gallons, and she comes filled up with Octane 91 (recommended by Cadillac).
It's hard to let her go. Hoping to find a 1960–1979 Lincoln/Mercury or a 1960–1979 van or truck.
