1951 Cadillac Other Additional Info:
Selling my 1951 Cadillac Coupe so I can focus on another project. This is NOT a 100 point, totally restored, Pebble Beach kinda car. It's also not priced at $50K, it's a nice, reliable classic car and Can be had for a reasonable price.
First the good! This Cadillac is a great driver with many new parts. Runs down the highway no problem, a pleasure to drive. We've driven it all over Tennessee and Kentucky. 331 Cadillac V8 w hydramatic transmission. Rebuilt carb, gas tank cleaned and checked, new shocks, idler arm, brakes, etc. Converted to 12 Volt with new battery and alternator. Fresh black base/clearcoat paint, new white vinyl interior with new carpet & headliner. All flat glass is new light grey tint. New taillight & backup lenses. Gauges, interior & trunk lights, horn, turn signals, parking brake, etc all work. Coker wide whitewall tires, Vintage Air heat/AC/defrost, hidden hookup & volume control for IPod stereo with Kenwood Amp & Pyle speakers, detailed trunk with new weatherstrip (toolbox shown IS included) etc.
The bad? Windshield has a small bullseye on passenger sid and some delamination starting. Typical minor oil/trans/diff leaks. Vacuum windshield wipers do not work (did they ever?) Chrome & stainless are not perfect but presentable for a 'driver' Needs various weatherstripping replaced, etc.
All in all this is a fantastic car for my price. Please don't bid if you're not serious about buying the car. Feel free to ask any questions or arrange to inspect the car before bidding, I'll reply asap.
