This is an interesting pieceof history. Special ordered for the United States Air Force, it is 1 of only 9 manufactured. From the USAF it went to civil defense, then onto Weaverville, CA where I found it. In a time when most ambulances had 5 doors, this custom only had 3 making it a very rare find.The body is sound with no signs of damage except a minor spot of rust on the front floor board. Bondo has never been used.
