1973 Buick ESTATE WAGON Additional Info:

Here is one of the finest 1973 ESTATE WAGONS in the world. This is an ORIGINAL VEHICLE, it has not been restored other than the hood and front fender tops have been repainted as they were slightly faded. This is a national award winning show car, AACA senior award, BUICK CLUB senior gold award, NORTH SHORE concours(Massachusetts) best in class, 2011, has also been invited to the GREENWICH (CT ) concours and HEMMINGS concours. This vehicle was never used as a workhorse or as a "mommy" car to haul kids to McDonalds. I have a three ring binder with registrations and maintenance receipts to validate the original mileage of 52, 800 miles. It was manufactured in Jun, 1973 at the General Motors Wilmington, Delaware plant and shipped to Scranton Buick in Pennsylvania, ( I have the original key chain ) the wagon has 24 factory options ( see photo of original window sticker ) sold new for $ 6900,15. It has 5 bias ply tires to conform to AACA show specs. This is a two seat, six passenger wagon, it was not ordered with the third rear facing seat. I installed the Lavant vinyl top in 2008, the vinyl top was an available option in 1973, but was not original to this vehicle. It has full power including the tailgate which folds under the load area and tailgate window which raises into the roof. Every option works except the 8 track player which malfunctioned last summer and I have not had time to have it repaired. This wagon has all original wood grain applique, perfect vinyl interior and NO RUST. This wagon is a joy to drive and a pleasure to own. The engine compartment and undercarriage have been totally detailed. THIS IS NOT A RESTORED VEHICLE, IT IS ORIGINAL. My price is very reasonable for the quality and provenance of this unique collectible wagon. Inspections are welcome at my home.
