1976 Buick Century Additional Info:

1976 Buick Century strong running 231 6 cyl. Aprox. 106,000 miles that I do believe to be original. As far as I can tell, pretty much a survivor. Original extremely faded paint that I have not touched or tried to brighten. Roof in extremely great condition with no noticeable rips or tears. Very minimal exterior rust. Missing trim piece along passenger side of vehicle. Interior in excellent condition with the exception of a 2" tear at the rear passenger side head rest area. Cooper tires in great condition with about 6-8/32 tread depth.
-I am a private seller. This car is a lot of fun to drive, starts right up on first turn of the key, and drives straight down the highway. The "GEN" light is always on but I have never had any problem and have never changes the alternator. The dash light behind the speedo is presently out. I've pretty much just left this survivor un-touched and it has been a daily driver for me 3-4 days a week. Outstanding restoration piece, or simply drive it as it is. These 6 cyl. engines are so easy to work on, simply run on gas and air. I have replaced the rubber vac lines as needed, some do show signs of cracking.
-Obviously due to vehicle age, vehicle is sold AS IS WHERE IS
-Sounds very cliche', but if I had the storage space for this vehicle I would not get rid of it. My son and I have a blast in this car, however I also have a young daughter. I would not hesitate to jump in this car and drive it to California and back, but things change, and lest's face it, when you dive a 40 year old vehicle there's is always that chance of sitting along the road after leaving the driveway....it's great for a nice Sunday drive, but not the best family vehicle with a young daughter.
-As I stated above, I would not hesitate to jump in the car and drive it anywhere. However, I recently purchased a regular every day driver and have not driven this vehicle in about a month and a half, so towing is recommended. VEHICLE IS RUNNING AND A DAILY DRIVER, BUT HAS NOT BEEN DRIVEN IN ABOUT 2 MONTHS. PRESENTLY HAS A BROKEN BRAKE LINE AT PASSENGER SIDE REAR, BUT THAT CAN MOST DEF BE FIXED BEFORE PICK UP. PICK UP IS BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY...VEHICLE LOCATED IN CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA. BUYER ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL TITLE TRANSFER FEES, AND LICENSE FEES.
-PA Buyers...I do have easy access to a licensed PA notary. PA State Inspection good until Jan 2017
-I've tried to describe vehicle as best as I can, but I'm sure I am forgetting something. Any questions, please ask.

*****Few other small notes: small tear on corner of dash board to left of steering wheel. Radio and clock in-op. Gas gauge, cig lighter, all interior lights work fine with the exception of the mentioned light being out behind the speedo. All exterior lights, turn signals, etc work as designed, however there is water in 2 of the front headlights so they should be replaced. Wipers work as designed high and low setting, wiper fluid in-op.
