1967 Buick Wildcat Additional Info:

Where to start...this Wildcat is truly one of a kind, in beautiful condition, runs super strong and probably handles better than when she was new.

This is a numbers matching car with it's original Owners Manual, Protect-O-Plate and original keys. Every effort was made to keep her original and period correct, with the exception of upgrading the front drum brakes to discs, upgrading the a/c compressor, and adding new oil, temperature and volt gauges. This engine sounds incredible, the car drives straight as an arrow and can jump off the line like nothing this size should. Receipts / invoices of all work will be made available to the buyer.

We were not the original owners and little information was available from the seller when we purchased the car, with the exception of it having been a FL vehicle and having been kept in an a/c'd warehouse. I can say that since we brought it home in 2007, this Cat has been well loved and kept in a climate-controlled garage. Complete rebuild of the orginal engine was done at 89,114 miles ~ that's 1540 miles on the engine since overhaul w/ SealedPower Pistons .030" oversize; New Hastings Cast Iron Ring set .030" oversize, Melling Timing Chain, Camshaft and Lifters.

Fully rebuilt Edelbrock Carburetor, Overhauled Power Steering Gearbox and Coupler Assembly; New Fuel Pump and Fuel Sending Unit; Refinished fuel tank + new liners and seal; HD Aluminum Radiator; Disc Conversion for Front Brakes + new Master Cylinder; A/C Rebuilt w/ new upgraded Sanden Compressor; new Exhaust System from mufflers to bumper plus new exhaust tips.

Black vinyl Interior is 9.8 out of 10, as is the carpet. All trim is intact and in exellent condition with the exception of a missing 1" round decorative logo piece missing form the pax side (above the a/c vent) that I will locate and replace. There is a full-size spare in the trunk, along with an industrial jack should you ever need one. Less than 1000 miles on four new tires.

Paint is a solid 7 or 8 out of 10, with plenty of gloss and shine. We purchased the car with the current paint - matched to the original factory color, though it is a repaint. The body is rust-free, solid and straight. There are a few touch ups on the car done before we bought it and a few scratches on the driver's side. There is an area on the driver's side rear fender that would need a little cosmetic attention, as well as a few areas with bubbling beginning to appear beneath the paint. Areas with any issue are shown in the photos. All chrome is in excellent condition. Despite the areas where there are paint flaws, the car looks fantastic overall and would not be demanding a paint job immediately. Considering this, it is the one thing we haven't done, though if we kept her, would do in the future to keep any potential issues at bay. I just finished detailing the car in and out and came across three small spots where I saw rust. Two about 1/8" is by the top trim of the back window and the other on a metal bracket near the gas tank. I do have photos of the (6 or 7) problem spots, but could not fit everything within the allowable space in the listing. Please email for additional pics and I'll gladly forward.

Everything works on the car with the exception of the radio. A/C blows super cold and all lights, window switches and gauges are fully operative. The pax window sometimes needs a little help going up, but the others are perfect. The seals around the forward vent windows could use replacement as the rubber is hardened. All other seals and trim is in good shape.

This Wildcat is an absolute joy to drive ~ rare to see, striking to look at, reliable as a daily driver and attracts more than its fair share of attention on the road. All questions are welcome ~ I will respond as quickly as I can. If there are additional photographs or videos you have interest in seeing, just let me know.
