Up for bids is this very sharp '69 Buick Electra 225 convertible. This car was owned by long term BCA members and was active in many club events, including the Buick Centennial. Cherished and cared for throughout the years, the car is a standout example of Buick's top model offering for 1969.

The car has had one high quality repaint in its original color of "Antique Gold". Prep and application were excellent, this is nice paint. You'll find no runs, fisheye, orange peel or other imperfections, the finish is glass smooth over super straight body lines. No rust issues except for some corrosion showing on the cornering light assemblies, these are visible in the 6th and 7th photos above. No other problems, this is the car's biggest flaw.
Tires have good tread, all 4 wheelcovers are in good original condition.
Antique Gold (code 77) is a complex color, at times ranging from green to brown depending on the light.
All of the car's glass is excellent, including the windshield.
The rear bumper has a small tweak left of the center, I have a call in to a bumper repair guy who comes recommended, we'll see if he can't get that to look a little better by auction end. All of the car's chrome is in nice condition, as well as the lights, lenses, and emblems.
1st shot below shows a good close-up of the metallic in the paint, it's applied perfectly throughout with no tiger striping.
Clean trunk area with what looks to be the original spare.
Included with the car are some Best of Show awards the car has received. Also included is a full size car cover.
The convertible top is in terrific condition with no flaws or damage. It power up and down smoothly and latches down easily with perfect fit.
The upholstery is all in great shape, carpet as well, this car seats six comfortably.
Power windows all operate smoothly, as well as the power seat. All gauges and controls operate correctly. A MP3 capable AM-FM CD player was professionally installed, it comes with a remote control and has good sound.
The 430ci V8 starts instantly on the correct fast idle and runs very strongly with no smoke. The car motors down the road beautifully, you'll like the way this car drives. Has a nice tight suspension, smooth throttle and steering response, and the comfort level that can only come from a car with a 126" wheelbase. The car shifts perfectly, brakes well and runs cool, basically all you have to do is sit back, stretch out, and fingertip steer this land yacht to the horizon.
All original floor pans with no sign of patching or accident damage, just a nice old Buick that's ready for miles of top-down enjoyment.
