This model car is said to be the grandfather of all muscle cars. Fittingly named the century due to it reaching speeds in excess of over 100 miles an hour it was the fastest of its time. Only 5546 made and this one still with matching numbers. (Who knows how many left.) The body is in great shape with the paint being decent; little rust. The interior has seen better days. High mileage but runs and drives great no issues and is even currently registered. I would say you probably won't find another better, but better yet you probably just won't find another period. This is the car that started it all. Better not let this one pass you by....Added info:So the car was purchased several years ago from an 82 year old GM dealer who had bought the car because of what it is; to drive and own. He had went through it about three years ago completing it about 98 percent. There is only a little rust on rocker panels. All else good except for tiny pin hole in the door. Carb rebuilt, new hoses, new 6 volt battery, new light lenses, new brakes. The rear end was went through. The gears were changed for better highway driving. The tires are old but originals, decent tred. Motor is correct; has small exhaust leak but doesn't effect performance. Can't attest to its non original paint. Again the car is solid! Handles well, shocks, King pins ect good. Have the original air cleaners.
