1982 Buick Riviera Additional Info:

For Sale is a limited production 1982 Buick Riviera Convertible. The car has 17,706 miles since new with only one owner, my father. This car only was driven on beautiful sunny days or on special occasions with the top down. He can no longer tolerate the sun like he used to and so his meticulously maintained pride and joy is for sale. Buick first introduced the Riviera name in 1949. It has usually been linked to Buick’s personal luxury models. One of the most notable was the 1963 Riviera Sport Coupe. Some say it was the most elegant coupe any GM division ever produced. This low mileage 1982 Riviera Convertible (Generation 6) proudly carries on the Riviera namesake. All 1982 Rivieras started out as coupes and a limited number were then converted to ragtops by ASC, Inc. of Lansing, MI. Today they are rare as only 1,250 were produced in 1982. Totally original, our Buick convertible is in excellent overall condition and has been serviced regularly. The distinctive white paint has fine luster and the tasteful red leather interior is in excellent shape, as is the power-operated top. Distinctive factory wire-wheel covers complete the exterior look. Convenience features include: air conditioning, power seats, cruise control and power windows/trunk. A 5.0-liter 8-cylinder 307 cubic inch engine powers the Riviera. Torque is delivered through a four-speed 700R automatic gearbox to front-wheel drive. Rivieras are equipped with power steering and 4-wheel power disc brakes as standard equipment. This is a very limited availability vehicle in excellent condition with a couple of nick’s and two plastic cracks that I have pointed out in the photos. I have set the reserve to the value of this very unique collector vehicle. The Riviera is being sold “as is” and at the close of the auction the winning bidder shall via PayPal make a $1000.00 dollar deposit within 24 hours. The full amount of the purchase will be due either by certified, verified or Cash funds at or before the transfer of title and vehicle. Arrangements to pick up the Riviera shall be made within 10 days of auction close. Please feel free to email me with any questions and you are always welcome to come and inspect the car in Joliet, Illinois prior to auctions end. Good luck and happy bidding
