Buick Lesabe T Type 3.8 V6 engine. Third owner. Has rebuilt transmission with less than 200 miles of use. Engine was rebuilt with approximately 90,000 miles use. Current miles are 167.500. Was wife's daily driver until transmission problems occurred forcing the purchase of replacement car in 2010. The transmission was rebuilt, but the car was not needed so it was going to be my restoration project. In 2011 a serious illness put an end to my ability to work. The restoration plans were put on hold. The body of the car is in good condition for a 1987 daily driver until 2010. The interior needs work. The seats and carpeting are good except for a small spot on the driver's seat that has worn through, but the dash has sun damage. The arm rests nylon / plastic on both doors will need repaired. The car does not have original paint. This car is one of 4,123 manufactured in 1987.Pictures of outside of car were taken in 2018. Inside and others are current. Car has always been garage kept since purchased. The car has been stored in my garage since 2010 and not highway driven since 2013 when the state inspection and registration were discontinued. It has been started and run on the street in front of garage at least one time per year since 2013.The 1987 Buicks were undercoated with a thick, rough spray. Over years of driving, some of the undercoating in the wheel wells developed cracks and allowed water to be trapped between the undercoating and the metal of the wheel well. There are 2 spots that I know of, but to repair these spots with a welder will require removal of the undercoating. These areas are in the wheel wells and not the car body.
