“This 1966 Buick Special Deluxe Coupe has been extensively restored and tastefully upgraded to create a dependable, high-performance cruiser while retaining its classic Buick character. Completed in 2021, the drivetrain features a rebuilt Chevrolet 355 V8 (rebuilt by SAS Performance) with ProMaxx aluminum heads, an Edelbrock 650 CFM electric choke carburetor, headers, stainless dual exhaust with Flowmaster 40-series mufflers, and a 6-quart oil pan. Power is sent through a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with a shift kit to an 11-bolt posi rear end with 3.55 gears.

Performance and drivability are enhanced with four-wheel power disc brakes, Hotchkis front and rear sway bars and trailing arms, a quick-ratio 14:1 steering box upgrade, Bilstein shocks with 2-inch lowering springs, and a 3-core aluminum radiator. The working Vintage Air air conditioning system keeps the cabin comfortable, while 15x8 Buick T-Type aluminum wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich raised white-letter tires complete the look.

Inside, the car features 1975 Monte Carlo swivel bucket seats, a refurbished rear seat, original dash pad and visors, a rebuilt steering column, rebuilt original clock, new headliner, weatherstripping, door locks and keys, new front and rear seat belts, and sound deadening throughout the passenger compartment. A 1,000-watt Bluetooth stereo system provides modern audio, and the fuel system has already been set up for future EFI conversion if desired. Additional highlights include original glass and moldings, new body mounts, new rear quarter panels, a space-saver spare, and the original bumper jack. This is a thoughtfully built Buick that combines classic styling with modern comfort, reliability, and performance.”
