I have a 1955 Buick Special 4 Door Hardtop here that I use to drive around town and run errands. It is a great looking 55 with a fantastic patina. It starts right up, drives and brakes great. I've driven it 55mph and in stop and go in town with no problems. It has some rust down low mainly in the drivers rocker and rear dogleg. It's all down low so if it's something you want to fix it can be done without affecting the great look it has going on. All the floors are undercoated and solid. The engine appears to have been rebuilt with not a lot of miles on it. It doesn't smoke while running and fires right up. The transmission shifts perfectly. The gas pedal start feature these have from the factory still works great. The only real mechanical issue is the vacuum wiper motor is frozen. The electric conversion is only $300 but it wasn't a daily driver so I never swapped it. If it's a big deal to someone I can install the kit before pickup or shipping for $500 including parts and labor. It does have electronic ignition I installed on it. Made it run and start much better. I have a clean clear title in my name and will work with any shipper you decide to use if you go that route. Booking and paying for shipping is the buyers responsibility. I require a $500 deposit at the end of the auction and the balance paid by cash or wire within 7 calendar days. Pick up can be whenever you need after that point. I've worked with several shippers after selling cars on here and never had a problem. I will do a buy it now of $8000 if anyone is interested with an immediate $500 by PayPal or wire or any other agreeable payment method. What classic can you get that actually looks good and can be driven immediately for that amount of money? Great car, I just do not have the room anymore to hold onto it. Please do not bid unless you intend to follow through with the purchase. The deposit is non-refundable and required. Please ask any and all questions before the end of the auction and good luck. You won't be disappointed with this one.
