Up for auction is this bitchin 1961 Buick Lesabre Bubble Top Mild Custom! When I first saw this car I couldn’t stop thinking about what it could be! After talking to the older gentleman that owned it he had decided he wasn’t going to get around to it so we struck deal and I brought her home. Being an originalsurvivor running and driving car I was able to get to work right away on my vision and make it a reality! Starting with the body I shaved all the emblems and retained the factory door handles and trim to stick with the mild custom look. Dressed her in gloss white and got busy with laying out the vision of the Watson style Scallops then threw down some satin gold pearl to complete the look along with the roof and hand pinstriped the scallops in one shot black to bring out the black tuc n roll interior! New carpet and door panels along with a fully trimmed and carpeted trunk completes a very clean look. Also has the factory Buick floating dash Tach (non working) have not looked into it but sure looks cool! Now to the business of the car. She’s running the factory Nailhead V8 backed by the 2 speed Dynaflow Transmission breathing through dual exhaust that sounds amazing and runs and drives beautifully! Rolls on chrome reverse wheels with bullet caps and color matched centers wrapped in thin whites to complete the 60s custom look.
