Beautiful well kept 1967 Buick Wildcat rare two door. Many key upgrades to make this a very nice car to drive and show.
Vehicle Details
1967 Buick Wildcat, rare 2-door hardtop model with 430 CUI V-8 enginge, 4-Barrel carb, dual exhaust. Includes automatic transmission, power brakes and working AC.
During my ownership I have completed the following to make this one of the nicest 67 Wildcat two-door models out there:
Upgraded engine performance and reliability with new:
Double Row Timing Chain and Gears
Oil Pump and Timing Cover Assembly
Water Pump
Fuel Pump
Thermostat Housing and Thermostat
HEI Distributor
Plugs/Wires
Heater core valve
Heater core
Heater hoses
HVAC vacc lines all new
Further, the handling has improved with a new front-end suspension kit that includes:
Inner Tie Rod Ends, Right and Left
Outer Tie Rod Ends, Right and Left
Tie Rod Sleeves (2 Each)
Sway Bar Bolts (2 Each)
Sway Bar Bushings - 15/16" (24mm) (2 Each)
Upper Ball Joints (2 Each)
Lower Ball Joints (2 Each)
Upper Control Arm Bushings (4 Each)
Lower Control Arm Bushings (2 Each)
New shocks front and rear
Finally, I replaced the worn and torn rear package shelf with a new correct shelf, found the rare NOS trunk emblem, and added new, correct trunk carpet. In addition I replaced the rear taillight lenses and refurbished the taillight housings.
No rust on the car aside from minor surface rust on the drivers side drip channel (see photos). Wipers do not work - have not had time to figure those out but I never drive it in the rain. And the dash has cracks repaired by previous owner.
The car runs and drives beautifull and is ready for any car show or to just enjoy on the road.
