1969 Buick Skylark Additional Info:

This car was fully frame off restored by me, the owner, in my home garage, in 2020 -2021. See attached pictures for details about the restoration. I am a hobbyist, and not a professional, but I've been told by many that this car came out great. Every nut, bolt, component was cleaned up/sand blasted/ replaced/ painted, etc,, and then lovingly put back together. While not show quality, it is a nice driver- quality car that gets attention every time you are out in it!I replaced the 4 speed transmission with a 5 speed Tremec Overdrive manual trans - and it is very enjoyable! You can now cruise at highway speeds and not hear the engine screaming at such high RPM's, which I never thought was good on these old car engines. That change alone has made this car so enjoyable and practical to drive on these modern roads. It has a 350 Buick engine, bored 30/100's over stock, rebuilt by previous owner, Hooker Headers, Edelbrock 4 barrel carb, 3.42 Posi rear end, after market hidden stereo/Bluetooth in the glove box. Lays a very nice patch taking off from stop lights, and is a blast to drive. It's sound, performance, and running are all perfectly dialed in.It has some GS components on it, but started out as a Skylark Custom. The previous owner had started that conversion, and it looks so good, I kept all GS items on the car. I will include the GS air cleaner with a full price purchase, as it is a very expensive item - look what they sell for on EBay if you doubt that.If you want a fun, reliable, summer cruiser that turns heads, at a reasonable price, than this is your car. It has been garage kept, never out in rain or snow, and is most fun in the spring, cool weather, and nice fall weather, as it has no a/c or heater. It is a fair-weather cruiser. Thanks for looking, any questions will be answered promptly. Bob
