Selling for my neighbor. One beautiful rare 1938 Buick Special Convertible. Professionally completed with a total ground up restoration. Mildly hot rodded and upgraded where it counts to create an up to date ride with the comforts of a new vehicle.Mechanically new from the restored drivetrain including it's Chevrolet 350 motor, Turbo Hydro-matic 400 transmission, 10 bolt 8 1/2 inch rear end with highway gears. Runs, drives as new. Mustang front suspension, springs, exhaust, related brakes and steering are all new and road dependable. Every inch of the motor was gone through and has complete new components to enhance its look and reliability. Add the power steering, power brakes, Vintage Air Conditioning and I'm sure you get the picture.Interior restoration uses an original seat covered in leather with red piping. Power windows, glass. 2 speed wipers, VDO gauges, new door handles and everything works to perfection. The convertible top is new, in and out. The rumble seat and trunk space are new and tastefully match the interior.Finally check the base clear paint, new chrome throughout, fit and finish, new wheels and tires.
