Up for sale is a classic 1962 Buick Electra 225 2 Door Hardtop, it is a dream car of a retired gentleman friend, who unfortunately couldn't finish the project due to health reasons. This 2 door hardtop / coupe has a Clean, Original, Texas Title in the gentleman's name, ready for an easy title transfer. He has owned the Buick since 2014. Mileage shows to be only 86,424 miles. I'm not the original owner so I can not guarantee the accuracy of that. It's a perfect opportunity for a car enthusiast to take on a restoration project and bring this beauty back on the road. The car body itself seems mostly straight with only a few dents and average wear and tear for a 1962 automobile. Rust is what I'd consider minor for a 1962 automobile. (This car is from the Texas panhandle) The left fender has a dent, but there is a straight replacement fender lying inside the car that is included for the restoration. Additionally, there is a dent in the top of the right rear corner where someone backed into it when he was working on it, but the metal is still very solid and can be straightened or replaced. The engine, transmission, and their related components were removed by the owner years ago for restoration, but have since been misplaced during storage, between several relocations, and are no longer available. Everything else is there and it is a complete rolling car other than that.Naturally, the upholstery requires restoration, but all the little, hard-to-find pieces are present. Though the cloth part is worn and sun-faded, the rare options of factory air conditioning, power windows, and power seats will enhance the value and comfort of the car. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own this piece of history. If you are a serious buyer feel free to message me here on eBay and I'll try answer your questions the best I can (I do not do phone calls). I'm not at the car, but I'll do my best.Vehicle is sold as is, where is. Vehicle must be picked up during our normal business hours of 10am to 4pm, Monday though Friday. A non-refundable deposit of $200.00 (or payment in full if you wish) is due at the end of the auction if you purchase the vehicle. I'd prefer you pick up the vehicle within ten days of auction end, but additional time may be allowed if you contact me.
