Here is a 1955 Buick Special parts/donor car. This is one of about 84,000 Specials produced (excluding police cars, ambulances and other professional cars). The average person may not understand how many usable parts are available on this non running sedan. I photographed many of those parts. Check out that dash… it still has the speedometer, radio, clock and more! The upholstery guy will tell you the seat frames can be built and covered to look new. Even though the doors and floors are rusty, note the extra trim parts that can be buffed and polished. Very restorable rear bumper and straight front bumper (with a little corrosion on the dagmars. The ports are all there as well as the hub caps. The drivers and windshield glass is pretty much shot but the rear glass and all other glass is OK! The trunk and hood are salvageable. I resisted selling for parts but if it does not sell, I’ll part it out. Putting air in the tires will get it up on your hauling vehicle.
