1984 Buick Regal Additional Info:
This 1984 Buick Regal T-type was factory-equipped with the WH1 “Designer” trim and is powered by a turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a factory limited-slip differential. Finished in two-tone gray and black over red cloth upholstery, the car is equipped with removable glass roof panels, front and rear spoilers, 15″ aluminum wheels, a power-adjustable driver seat, power windows, and a factory cassette stereo. The front brake pads were replaced in 2013, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale along with replacement of the accessory belts and fuel filter. This T-Type is offered with original purchase documentation, manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Idaho title.
The car was factory-finished in a black-and-gray scheme specific to the WH1 “Designer” trim and wearing a recent nice quality repaint in the original colors. Equipment includes removable glass roof panels, front and rear spoilers, and T-Type badging.
Aluminum 15″ wheels are mounted with older but good condition 215/65 Goodyear Eagle GTII white-letter tires. The car is equipped with power steering and power-assisted front disc/rear drum brakes. The front brake pads were replaced in 2013, at which time the rotors were turned.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in red cloth upholstery and accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard and door panels. A center console is fitted along power windows, a power-adjustable driver seat, and a factory cassette stereo. The air conditioning only operates on the defrost setting and the passenger sunvisor droops a little.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a horizontal 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a boost gauge, and a fuel gauge. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 35k miles. The Carfax report notes a potential odometer rollback in 1996 along with mileage inconsistencies in 2012 and 2023, all of which clearly as typos. True miles are 135k.
The turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 was factory-rated at 200 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. The fuel filter and accessory belts were replaced in preparation for the sale and the oil was changed.Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.
A body order broadcast sheet is included in the sale along with manufacturer’s literature and original sales documents from Lake Buick of Burlington, Vermont.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists registration history in Washington, Vermont, and Idaho.
Lovely driving experience, great power, idles as it should, tracks straight and drives great on street or highway.
This car shows as a very well cared for and honest, rust free great driving T-Type in the rare WH1 trim. It is 40 years old and not perfect, as expected, but certainly an extremely well preserved and cared for Buick. All cars are sold as-is and inspections are welcome.
