1971 Buick GS455 Additional Info:

I have owned this car since 1996. I found it listed in a copy of the Chicagoland Classic Car Trader, and was located in Worth, IL. The seller was a Pontiac guy who had recently traded a GP SJ for this rare Buick. He knew this was a rare car, so he had the car (affordably) painted as well as he applied light undercoating to the floor pans ahead of the upcoming '96 Chicago Winter. He sold the car to me that October and I tucked it away in a barn for many years. (60.00 per year rent!)
This car has always been my dream project, even though the factory motor is MIA. When I was young, I would scour club newsletters, newspapers, and Ebay, chasing down rare NOS parts while planning a frame-off restoration. (This wasn't easy before the Internet came along) I learned a lot and met a lot of nice people all over the Midwest in my Buick travels.
