Overview Of Entire Vehicle: *Condition #3+ (Excellent Rare Buick)

Here is an absolutely beautiful 1957 Buick Roadmaster 75 4dr HT in amazing condition inside and out. This car is on consignment with us from one of our very good customers. He has a large collection and we are helping him cut down that collection as he is of the age where he can no longer drive and enjoy them all. We actually sold this car to him about 6 years ago and he has owned it ever since. The car had an older restoration but still looks absolutely beautiful finished in two-tone Seminole Red and Dover White with a matching interior. It has its original engine and transmission and the engine was just completely rebuilt. It has very rare factory air conditioning which you never seen in these old Buicks. It has a beautiful straight body with zero rust as it was always stored inside and has been a southwest car. The paints shows wonderfully, it has superb fit and finish with excellent trim and chrome and you just do not find them like this anymore. To restore one of these cars would cost you 3 to 4 times as much as we are asking for it, if you could even find a good one to start with, so do not wait on this car as it will not last long at all.

Exterior: *Condition #3+

The exterior of this car is absolutely drop dead gorgeous and is in amazing condition for being an older restoration. It is finished in a smooth as glass two-tone Seminole Red over Dover White paint. It looks like it was painted a year ago and not 10+ years ago it is so beautiful. It has a super straight body, is totally rust-free and solid being in the southwest. All the chrome and trim has been completely redone and looks stunning. All the glass is crystal clear and in excellent condition. It is sitting on its factory wheels and hubcaps with wide whitewall radial tires. The only flaw on the exterior is the chrome trim on the vent windows only. They are original and the drivers side has some light pitting in it but the passenger side is very nice still. The emblems are all original and they do show a little age as well on the Roadmaster lettering but that is being super picky. Overall the exterior is a marvelous wonder and looks just gorgeous and is sure to please at any car show or tour.

Interior: *Condition #3

The interior of this Buick Roadmaster is very nice and matches the exterior of the car. It is a two-tone red and white finished in the correct pattern but done in velour and vinyl which is not the correct material for the year but it looks great. The steering wheel is beautiful with zero cracks, the dash pad looks to have been redone and is very nice. The gauge cluster look and all the brightwork and trim look phenomenal and really shine. The headliner was redone as well as the carpet. Pretty much everything appears to work in the car except for the wipers, power antenna and the air conditioning, courtesy lights and the clock but the radio, horn, power seat, directionals, power windows all work. Inside the trunk has all been finished off as well and looks excellent. Overall the interior is very nice on this Buick and just needs a couple easy fixes to take it to that next level if you choose.

Mechanically: *Condition #3+

Mechanically this car is in great condition and drives beautifully. It has its original 364ci Nailhead engine which was just completely rebuilt less than a 1,000 miles ago and its original Dynaflow transmission. The engine runs like a top and sounds great and the transmission shifts super smooth. Under the hood it is all stock, super clean and very nicely detailed. The A/C is all there but the consignor wasn't planning on using the car so he never charged it so it does need serviced but again everything is there. It runs and drives down the road very nicely and does not have any issues that we are ware of. Overall this Roadmaster is in very good condition mechanically and is a very fine cruiser indeed.

Under Carriage: *Condition #3

The underside of this car is all original and untouched. You can see that there have been no repairs and there is absolutely zero rust. The car shows 62k miles and that could be original but we are not positive. The exhaust looks great and sounds great and is what you would expect from a southwest car.
