• I’ve owned this classic 1968 Buick Riviera since 2010, nine years. It’s refreshing to see how well American classics were built. The decision to change the cars original color from black to viper orange was not easy. Its never been in an accident and other than the color change, completely original. What I enjoy about this model is that in its day was a sporty luxury car. Many muscle cars while iconic, have been worked over and altered. This was a sporty luxury classic. I don’t have pics of the underside of this car but would encourage you to see for yourself. It’s consistent with the rest of the photos. The Buick Riviera was a large stylish American sports coupe that was extremely well regarded by automobile experts all around the world. High profile designers such as Sergio Pininfarina declared it as one of the most beautiful American cars ever built. The second generation Riviera hit the market in 1966 and retained thisX-frame, power-train, and brakes but introduced an all new, curvaceous body. Longer, lower, and wider, the new model.
