GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1973 Buick Riviera Hardtop Coupe for your consideration. The Riviera is powered by a 455ci V8 that is mated to an automatic transmission. The engine is in strong working order and the transmission shifts smoothly. There have been many recent repairs done to this car to make it run and drive amazing. There was a new coil and water pump with housing installed along with new gas tank, fuel pump, fuel sending... unit, intake manifold gaskets, and ignition harness. The carburetor has also been rebuilt and the car had a complete tune up. All of this to say that the example offered here is in great running condition. Painted in what is believed to be Autumn Gold, this Riviera shows some imperfections in the paint but overall is a very nice 46 year old car. The Autumn Gold exterior is paired with a brown vinyl roof and chrome trim which is in good condition. All floors, trunk, and body frame are very solid as are the wheel wells and rear quarters. Once inside the car one will note the great condition. The seats have been recovered, the instrument bezel is excellent, and dash pad is excellent. The light colored cloth seats pair well with the dark dashboard that features classic wood trim and chrome accents. This car has working power windows and seats and while the air conditioning doesn't work all of the components are on the car. Other options include, AM/FM radio, and cruise control. The example offered here came out of a collection and while it ran needed some sorting out. The selling owner has invested over $5500 into reconditioning this car to its current state. All receipts are included and document the professional service that the car has recently received. This generation of Riviera is getting more and more popular with prices rising so the time to get one is now. The Riviera was Buick's most expensive model and sold strongly throughout 1973 contributing to Buick's record 821,165 sales in '73. This is a beautiful car and investment you can enjoy.
